I grew up in the beach town of Jupiter, Florida, where water was always part of my life. I spent my childhood snorkeling, surfing, fishing, and exploring the coast, and I’ve always felt most at home in it, on it, or around it.

That connection has followed me everywhere I travel. From glacial lakes and rushing rivers to the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts, water is an elemental force that shapes our planet and sustains nearly every living thing on it. It carves mountains, builds coastlines, feeds forests, and influences where and how we live.

These photographs are as much about that connection as they are about the landscapes themselves. The power of moving water, the stillness of a mountain lake, people gathering along a distant shore, and the countless ways life gravitates toward it. Water is constantly reshaping the earth, and I’m constantly drawn back to it.
