Forests
Ancient trees, lush trails, and landscapes shaped by water and time.
There is nothing that captivates me quite like an old growth forest in the Pacific Northwest or the mountain forests of Montana. They’re my favorite landscapes to photograph, places that reward moving slowly and paying attention to overlooked areas of the trail. The more intentionally you travel the path, the more you begin to see and hear: light filtering through the canopy, water moving through the forest, fungi and moss underfoot, and details that are easy to pass by.
